About the Manual Comment Picker

This is a manual draw from a list you prepare. It does not connect to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or TikTok; it cannot retrieve comments from a post URL. You must collect eligible entries using a method available to you, then paste one username or participant ID per row.

Decide whether each person gets one entry or each eligible comment counts before preparing the list. The wheel treats rows as entries. If @alex appears three times and @bea appears once, their chances are three in four and one in four. No automatic deduplication or eligibility verification happens here.

The wheel supports at most 200 active entries. Check the count after pasting and do not run a larger draw on a truncated list. Visible animation and a screenshot can document what a host showed, but they do not independently verify that the input was complete or that a draw was not repeated.

How to use this tool

  1. Write down your entry rule, cutoff, number of selections, and how you will handle an ineligible result.
  2. Collect and review the eligible usernames yourself. Remove duplicates if your rule is one entry per person.
  3. Replace every sample username in Wheel Entries. Confirm the active count matches your prepared list and is no greater than 200.
  4. For more than one selection, choose a repeat rule before drawing. Removing a row does not remove other rows with the same username.
  5. Spin once for the first selection and record the result. Follow your declared rule for later selections or redraws.

Ways to use the Manual Comment Picker

One entry per participant

Prepare a list of unique participant IDs. If two IDs refer to the same person, reconcile them before pasting. The tool cannot determine whether accounts belong to the same person.

A small community activity

For an informal drawing challenge, pick one submitted username to choose the next prompt. Keep a copy of the eligible list so the host can explain the process afterward.

Tips for better spins

  • Never paste account passwords, private messages, email addresses, or access tokens.
  • A Share link exposes its entries to recipients and may send the URL to hosting and analytics providers.
  • If one person can win only once, remove all of their remaining rows manually before the next draw.

No. This tool accepts entry text only. It does not fetch comments, check follows or likes, or connect to a social account.

Are repeated usernames removed automatically?

No. Each active row remains a separate chance. Clean the list yourself if you need one chance per participant.

Does this provide proof of a fair giveaway?

No. It makes a local random selection from the supplied rows. It does not certify eligibility, preserve an immutable record, or prove the host did not rerun it.
